Vilhelm Lundtrøm - Model 1931

A poster from Louisiana Museum of Modern Art with the work, Model, (1931), by the Danish artist Vilhelm Lundstrøm. Lundstrøm was one of the central figures in early Danish modernism.

Inspired by French Cubism, Lundstrøm introduced the collage in Danish art in 1917. He created a series, of so-called pakkassebilleder - assemblages - made with pieces of colored wood in geometrically abstract shapes.
