Flower Pot nr1Näfveqvarn –
The sculptor Anna Petrus (1886-1949) was a pioneer in Swedish design and one of the most interesting sculptors of the 20th century. Petrus received her breakthrough at the Baltic Exhibition in Malmö in 1914. She then participated in several other exhibitions, including the Exhibition in Gothenburg 1923, the World Exhibition in Paris 1925 and the Stockholm Exhibition 1930. For Näfveqvarn, she designed, among other things, cast iron columns for the Swedish pavilion at Paris. The pavilion was designed by architect Carl Bergsten. Details of the pillars would then be transformed into flower pots. It is one of these pots that is now being made in a new edition by Näfveqvarn.
