Description

The Grasshopper floor lamp is a design classic from 1947, designed by the pioneering furniture designer and architect Greta M. Grossman. The unique silhouette with a steel stand that stands on three feet and extends up and backwards in a diagonal slope gives the lamp a vibrant expression. With its organic dynamics, Grossman's floor lamp came in as a fresh breath into the serious mordenism of the middle of the century. The lamp, which is made of powder-coated steel, is available in a variety of colors, from black and white to a color palette inspired by the mid-20th century.
