Biblioteket Rug

The carpet Bibliotek is designed by Emma Olbers for the public library in Stockholm's National Museum.

The finely hand-knotted rug has a design that represents a mixture of Emma's first sketches of the old library with its three arches and large windows at the top, the rows of books and the newly laid oak parquet.

Notable

Hand knotted rugs shall always be cleaned by a professional carpet cleaner. Rugs in silk and tencel blend should be treated with extra care.
Stains on silk or tencel shall not be removed with water, only a slightly damp cloth and try on a small part of the carpet first. Never use chemicals at home.
